Hello I am looking for your certification recommendation. I have plenty of IT education, broad training/experience (Cisco, Microsoft admin, security, ATM, SONET, cryptos), but I am looking to expand my resume with technical certifications. I am either looking at the CCNP cert or 4 individual certs (Security+, Check Point, CCDA and CWNA). Please provide your recommendations.

Everything I’ve read about Lean Manufacturing Techniques has served to increase my interest. I think we’re capable of getting there.
I’d much rather improve our efficiency locally than resort to mass layoffs our overseas outsourcing.

The benefits of using Scorm in the Scorm compliant learning management system is that the Scorm content can communicate with any LMS or learning management system that uses the standardized method based on Javascript. I had no idea when we started using the new inventory management software that it was so full service. Not only does it keep track of our inventory but it also keeps the value of the inventory and adjusts it with every sale. If we sell 5 lamps then it will keep track of the number remaining and the value of the sale. When we have something returned, the software keeps count and adjusts the value accordingly. I am almost having a hard time letting go of that responsibility but if this keeps up I may have to give this software a promotion…

I was doing a little research the other day on Adam Smith and his long line of accomplishments when he was alive in the 1700’s. There are many things that are credited to him as inventing or discovering. One thing that I did not know about him was that he coined the term Business Process. He had quite a catchy anecdote about the process and he claimed that once put in to play he could increase business output by 240,000%. Now that is quite the figure! Of course anyone today would have to have a process in line if they wanted an increase of any amount.

I was given the responsibility of hospitality department in our company’s Annual General Meeting which expected a turn out of approximately 800 participants. It has been our tradition to serve quality food to all our shareholders in the meeting. On my meeting with the caterer, I had requested him to bring along Sample Catering Menus so that it can be helpful in finalizing our menu in a short time. It was great to see him turn up with about 6 - 7 sample menus which had a wide choice of all type of vegetarian and non vegetarian delicacies. All menus were well selected and the items were quite compatible with each other. I took not much time to select one amongst them and added few extra deserts to make it even more impressive. The final outcome was great and every one enjoyed the dinner.
